What we will be doing to help you enjoy a safe and comfortable stay

As we adjust to operating the hotel to suit the post Lockdown 2.0 we would like to highlight the way that we will be able to look after you once you have reserved a stay with us. Please do not make a booking if your are travelling from a Tier 3 location.

We can guarantee a warm welcome, although forgive us if we don’t shake your hand! To ensure that we can continue to achieve our extremely high room cleaning standards, we will only be able to welcome you from 3.00pm each afternoon, when you will be able to pick up your keys (freshly sanitised) from the reception desk.

On check-in, you will be asked to select a time for breakfast (probably not high on your list at check in, but we are aiming to be able to comfortably accommodate everyone in our airy breakfast room each morning). You will also be asked to pre-order your breakfast before retiring each evening – we are still sourcing as much of our breakfast menu as locally as we can, supporting producers who have, like us, been working hard, planning for a return to some form of normality.

In order to minimise contact (how we do dislike that notion in our hospitality business!) we will not be providing room cleaning service during your stay, but if you need a top up of tea, coffee, or fresh milk, fairtrade biscuits or fairtrade toiletries, just ask at breakfast and we can provide for you. If you need a change of towels, leave them outside your room in the bag provided, and we will replace them.

Many of our colleagues in the village will be offering food at lunch and dinner times and we will keep you informed of who is providing what when you check in.

There will be hand sanitiser and wipes freely available during your stay, and we hope that the light touches we have described will help you have a lovely time with us. If there is something that you would like to query please don't hesitate to get in touch, we're keen to provide any reassurance you may need.
