Our New Restaurant Menu
Since opening our restaurant in March 2022, we have made a few changes to our food offering. We are striving to use as many seasonal products as we can, which means we can update our menu to suit this throughout the year.
Our Spring/Summer menu has been put together by the team, to showcase some of our favourite ingredients, some of our customers favourite dishes and a whole range of delicious combinations of flavours.
Our Sharing Boards
These aren’t new, we just love showing them off…..but we have tweaked them slightly. We are really, really proud of these sharing boards! Not only do they look amazing whenever they come out of the kitchen, but they are made up of some of the tastiest, fresh ingredients.
We have 3 varieties of sharing boards, our Countryside board which is made up of home-cooked Gloucestershire Ham, a homemade Cacklebean scotch egg, Cinderhill sausage roll and pickles and chutneys. Our Windrush board is our seafood platter, with smoked salmon, fish goujons, Atlantic prawns in Marie Rose sauce, pickled herring, marinated anchovies and homemade tartare sauce! Finally, our Garden board, an amazing array of colour and deliciousness, hummus, grilled vegetables, radish, olives and our amazing Greek salad.
These are a must try at The Old New Inn! Available on our lunch and dinner menus.
Our Small Plates
A great chance for us to pack a lot of flavour and variety into a great meal through our range of small plates. We’ve updated our offering here recently to include pan-fried goats cheese, salt and pepper squid and our red pepper hummus!
If you want to enjoy a few different things, we recommend picking out two or three small plates per person (if you can narrow it down), Or, these are great as a starter before your main meal!
Our Mains
When it comes to our main dishes, we have put together an extensive menu that suits all. From sirloin steak to beetroot risotto as well as weekly specials, there are plenty of delicious options.
We recently added our cajun-spice chicken supreme, and it’s certainly become a favourite with our visitors. And thanks to our amazing meat supplier, R&D Walker Butchers, we regularly get our hands on top quality duck, beef and chicken to serve up.
Our Puds
Always remember to leave room for pudding! Especially when you’re dining at The Old New Inn. With our desserts, we’ve kept it simple yet still put together a range of sweet treats to perfectly finish off your meal.
Our standout is our sticky toffee pud, it’s been on the menu since we opened and is always a favoured choice with our diners. And for the chocolate fans, we’ve got an incredible dark chocolate delice.
If you’re wanting to end your meal with something savoury, we have also put together a cheese board using produce from our local dairy farm, Simon Weaver.
Surely we’ve got your mouth watering and tummy rumbling? You can also view our full menu here. If you want to come and try out our delicious food, book a table and we’ll see you soon!
